Description:
This study seeks to determine and analyze the factors that influence the innovation of family businesses in China and Peru given the global relevance of family businesses, their impact on regional economies, and their role in business innovation as a mechanism for creating competitive advantage. To this end, fundamental questions are raised about the factors that influence innovation in family businesses, exploring whether tradition is a source of intergenerational learning and whether improvements represent competitive advantage. The project will contribute knowledge about the role of family businesses in innovation, especially in the context of China’s rapid economic development.
