Informalidad y plataformas digitales: DiDi en perspectiva comparada
Description:
This research focuses on the impact of the digital travel and food delivery platform DiDi by way of a comparative approach with other companies in the same sector in Latin America and China. The study seeks to understand how these companies operate in different social contexts and how they are structured in specific situations. The methodology includes a literature review, discussion workshops, surveys, and interviews with workers and experts on the subject in Latin America. The project aims to prepare a report featuring original data on the relationship between employment, informality, and technology in Peru from a comparative standpoint, taking into account the particularities of DiDi in the country and comparing these experiences with others in Latin America.
