CECHAP participates in the Chinese New Year celebrations
On Tuesday, February 6, CECHAP—represented by deputy director Feliciano Nishikawa and director’s assistant Ramiro Ore—took part in the Chinese New Year event and reception held by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Peru.
Also in attendance were the minister of foreign trade and tourism, Juan Carlos Mathews; the minister of foreign affairs, Javier González-Olaechea; the minister of culture, Leslie Urteaga; the mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliaga; and the mayor of the Miraflores district, Carlos Canales Anchorena; among other distinguished representatives of government, academia, and the private sector.
The event was hosted by His Excellency Mr. Song Yang, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Peru, and was held in the Miraflores Chinese Park (Parque Chino de Miraflores).
