CECHAP Receives Delegation from the National University of Singapore
On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies (CECHAP) welcomed a delegation from the East Asia Institute (EAI) of the National University of Singapore (NUS). CECHAP affiliated researchers and administrative staff participated in the meeting, engaging in a working session with the three Asian representatives to explore topics of mutual interest.
The delegation was composed of Dr. Chen Gang, Deputy Director and Senior Research Fellow at the EAI; Dr. Zhao Litao, Senior Research Fellow; and Dr. Kong Tuan Yuen, Research Fellow. During the discussion, the visiting scholars and the CECHAP team exchanged perspectives on economic, political, and strategic issues in the region, including the development of the Port of Chancay, Peru’s current political landscape, emerging economic opportunities, and avenues to strengthen Asia–Peru cooperation in academic, research, and development fields.
This visit reaffirms CECHAP’s commitment to strengthening international networks and fostering academic dialogue with leading global institutions.
