CECHAP welcomed a delegation from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences
On Friday, April 11, CECHAP welcomed a delegation from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), the leading think tank in Shanghai and one of the most important in China.
The delegation was led by Shuang Yan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, accompanied by Jian Wang, Director of the Institute of International Relations at SASS; Jia Zhang, Program Coordinator of the Office of International Cooperation; and Ming Xing, interpreter for the delegation.
During the meeting, the SASS representatives exchanged ideas with Dr. Cynthia Sanborn, Director of CECHAP; José Carlos Feliciano Nishikawa, Associate Director; and the center’s team of researchers. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities for academic cooperation and highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between research institutions in China and Peru.
