Director of CECHAP, delivered a key masterclass at the IMD EMBA Global Immersion
On Thursday, June 5, 2025, day 2 of the IMD EMBA Global Immersion Week in Peru was marked by an intense program focused on impact investing and social innovation.
On this occasion, Dr. Cynthia Sanborn, Director of CECHAP at Universidad del Pacífico, delivered a key masterclass on the historical and strategic relationship between Peru and China, highlighting China’s role as a leading investor in the country.
In addition, CECHAP researcher Nifta Lau Ibarias guided students on an immersive visit to Lima’s Chinatown. These activities offered participants a unique opportunity to connect academic learning with real-world experiences and to better understand Peru’s ties with Asia.
