Professor Omar Narrea and former Minister Magali Silva participated in the seminar “China’s Development Experiences” in Beijing and other Chinese cities
From July 4th to 24th, 2018, the International Seminar “China’s Development Experiences and Cases” was held in Beijing, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. Omar Narrea, professor and associate researcher of the UP School of Public Management, and the former Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, Magali Silva, participated in the event with the support of the Center. The seminar included a visit to the innovation districts and industrial parks of the cities of Xi’an (Shaanxi) and Anyang (Province of Henan). At the closing ceremony of the seminar, held at the headquarters of the Center for International Knowledge on Development of Beijing, both representatives presented their perspectives on the Peruvian challenges of the economic and social transition process of the last decades.
