The Center attended to the seminar “The Modernization of the People’s Republic of China”
On April 20th, the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies at Universidad del Pacifico attended the seminar “The Modernization of the People’s Republic of China”, organized by Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales (CAEN) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the primary center for comprehensive thinking and research in the People’s Republic of China in the fields of philosophy and social sciences.
During the event, presentations were made on China’s industrialization and proposal for ecological civilization, its strategy for rural revitalization, and its initiative for global development, highlighting the country’s vision on how to build a world of prosperity through joint development and cooperation.
The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, authorities from CAEN, and distinguished scholars from CASS attended the seminar. Representing Universidad del Pacifico were the Director of the Universidad del Pacífico Research Center, Joanna Kámiche, and CECHAP researcher, Antonio Pagán, as guests.
