Universidad del Pacifico and Binus University of Indonesia organized a keynote lecture about business and international marketing

On November 4, 2025, Indonesia’s Binus University and Universidad del Pacífico (UP) held a joint online master class on international business and marketing, organized as part of UP’s course on International Marketing in China and the Asia-Pacific.

During the session, students from Universidad del Pacífico presented representative Peruvian products with potential to enter the Indonesian market, in the context of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two countries, signed in 2025.

The event featured the participation of the Ambassador of Peru to Indonesia, Luis Tsuboyama, together with representatives from the Embassy of Indonesia in Lima and Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade, who offered valuable insights and perspectives on opportunities for bilateral cooperation and trade. José Carlos Feliciano Nishikawa, Deputy Director of the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies (CECHAP) and instructor of the course, participated on behalf of Universidad del Pacífico.

This academic initiative builds upon the collaboration established following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Binus University and Universidad del Pacífico during the INA-LAC forum held in Lima in 2024.

The joint classes also reflect the commitment of both institutions to strengthening academic and commercial ties between Indonesia and Peru, in the framework of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
