Universidad del Pacifico welcomed Dr. Chen Taotao and a delegation from Tsinghua University
On Tuesday, July 22, Universidad del Pacifico (UP) welcomed Dr. Chen Taotao, Director of the Tsinghua University Latin America Center and Professor of International Business at Tsinghua University, one of China’s most renowned universities.
Dr. Chen was accompanied by Dr. Rong Yu and Ph.D. candidates Feng Jian and Qiao Ziyi, with whom UP hosted a productive day of academic exchange and dialogue with the university community. The visit explored new opportunities for cooperation in research, exchange programs, and joint projects to strengthen connections between Peru and Asia.
The visitors were welcomed by Dr. Gustavo Yamada, Vice Presidency for Research at UP; Dr. Cynthia Sanborn, Director of CECHAP; and CECHAP researchers Leolino Dourado, Omar Narrea, and Kehan Wang.
CECHAP highlights the importance of these initiatives in strengthening academic ties with leading global institutions and opening new perspectives for knowledge production from Latin America to the world.
