Director of the Center interviewed on Claro y Directo by Augusto Álvarez Rodrich – La República

On September 25, the director of the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies, Dr. Rosario Santa Gadea, was interviewed by Augusto Álvarez Rodrich on Claro y Directo, a current affairs show produced by the La República newspaper. During the interview, Dr. Santa Gadea commented on the launch of the Spanish-language version of En Búsqueda de un Camino para Evitar la Trampa del Ingreso Medio: los Casos de China y Perú, of which she is co-editor and co-author.
Dr. Santa Gadea also noted that Peru is one of the few Latin American countries to have signed a FTA with China, and that it enjoys enhanced diplomatic status. Likewise, she remarked that China and Peru are both characterized as middle-income countries.
