Interview to Rosario Santa Gadea in “4 a la N” program

On Sunday, May 14, our director, Dr. Rosario Santa Gadea, participated as a guest in the “4 a la N” program on China and the intense US-China relationship. In her slot, Dr. Santa Gadea reviewed China’s economic transformation and the keys to the growth that have seen it become the world’s second-largest economy. Likewise, she detailed the economic factors that form the basis of strategic competition between China and the United States and the scope of the Belt and Road Initiative, or New Silk Road, as well as its implications for Peru with the Chinese investment in the port of Chancay.
The program also drew on the participation of Ambassador Gonzalo Gutiérrez, former Peruvian foreign minister and current director of the Diplomatic Academy of Peru; Farid Kahhat, an international relations specialist; and Gonzalo Prialé, president of the Instituto de Infraestructura, Institucionalidad y Gestión, who hosted the event.
