Asia-Pacific in the World Economy: Trends and Opportunities for Peru
Description:
This study offers a comparative analysis of Peru and the economies on the other side of the Pacific Basin, many of which, besides being the country’s main trading partners, are benchmarks across pillars such as competitiveness and productivity. This approach has served to identify enormous gaps that the Peruvian economy has yet to bridge in its path to development. The comparison provides ideas to enrich Peru’s cooperation agenda vis-a-vis the Asia-Pacific region with the aim of supporting structural changes in the country.
