The Center receives an academic visit from Dr. Andrés Bórquez from Universidad de Chile
On December 18, the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies received an academic visit from Dr. Andrés Bórquez, Coordinator of the Asian Studies Program at the Institute of International Studies, Universidad de Chile. Dr. Bórquez presented his most recent research entitled “Perceptions of Chilean Elites on China’s Greater Economic Presence.”
Attending the gathering were the Director of the Center, Cynthia Sanborn; the Director of the UP Research Center (CIUP), Joanna Kamiche; professors David Wong, Martín Hernani, and David Mayorga; research affiliates Antonio Pagán and Leolino Dourado; and the center’s administrative team.
