The President of the Shanghai International Studies University visits Universidad del Pacífico
On Thursday, March 21st, the Universidad del Pacifico received a delegation from the Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), led by its President, Dr. Li Yansong. Dr. Yansong was cordially greeted by the President of Universidad del Pacífico, Felipe Portocarrero, alongside the Deputy Director of our Center, José Carlos Feliciano.
The SISU delegation was additionally comprised of the director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the dean of the Faculty of European and Latin American Studies, and the director of the Confucius Institutes Office.
During the meeting, aside from the introductory presentations of both institutions, discussions were engaged regarding prospective collaborative ventures encompassing joint research endeavors, faculty exchanges, as well as academic student exchanges.
Established in 1949, SISU is a renowned university recognized both nationally and internationally for its multidisciplinary approach, high degree of internationalization, and expertise in foreign languages.
